01 TERMS

The accepted currency is USD or EUR.
Can be paid via PayPal or bank transferuniquely
Orders can be paid 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.

The time it takes to complete your order varies from 1 week to 3 months depending on factors such as health, complexity of the part ordered, other work and convention seasons.
For an orderStandard:
Once the piece is complete, you will receive the full resolution image with a web-friendly size.
For an orderOn Stand: (ex : canvas, paper, to be agreed)
Once the piece is complete, you will receive the full resolution image with a web-friendly size. In addition, the work will be delivered to your address by post (subject to postage) or by hand depending on your location, it is also possible to collect the work from the artist's studio (for a making appointments).

You get 1 touch-up or modification on the part ordered included in the price.
Charges will be added if you want anything changed on the final drawing (unless a misunderstanding on the part of the artist has been made).
If you want the artist to change something in the drawing that you previously approved, you will be charged a fee to change it.

The amount of the supplement depends on the change you wish to see made, it will usually be based on an hourly wage.
Hourly rate in effect for the year2020 : 37.5€/H or 40.48$/H

Artist :

The artist reserves the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
The artist retains all copyright to the commissioned artwork.
The artist will not claim intellectual property of your character.
The artist will not benefit further from the commissioned work unless you
(the client) breach any of the conditions.
The artist reserves the right to publish the artwork commissioned online, in
his portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.

You (the customer):

You may use the commissioned artwork on any website and
network social.
You may not make a profit with the part ordered (resale, redistribution, upload to paid services, printing, etc.)
You cannot modify the commissioned artwork without the consent
of the artist.
You may be permitted to resell the original artwork if you purchased it on a hard medium (eg :canvas,watercolor paper) however please notify the artist or the Altérel collective, they will be able,
if necessary, notify you of the current price of the work.
You retain intellectual property rights to your character.
You may not use commissioned artwork for any purpose
commercial.
The following is considered copyright infringement:
Commercial reproduction/use of copyrighted artwork (means making money in a way not excluded from these terms).
Claim the artwork as your own.

In some cases, the commercial rights to the image can be purchased.

The buyer is not entitled to a refund once the artist has started working on the order.
If for any reason the artist is unable to start your order, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel your order before the work begins, you can get a full refund.
If you get a refund, don't ask for a Paypal chargeback. The artist or the Altérel collective will transfer the money to you.
If you request a Paypal chargeback at a time when you were not authorized to request a refund, you will lose all of the above rights to the part ordered. The artist, as well as the Altérel collective, will refuse the chargeback and will provide Paypal with proof of the work carried out for the client. In addition, you will be blacklisted.

Once the work is completed you will be provided with the following items :

Drafts/models that you have validated (depending on the complexity of the order, there may be more or fewer drafts).
final sketch(es) which you must accept before continuing work (depending on the complexity of the order, it may
there may be more or less sketches).
Preview(s) and color proof(s) (depending on complexity)
of the part ordered)
For an orderStandard:

Full resolution file in A4 (approx 210 x 297 mm at 300 DPI) of the final design and a smaller version for web and social media use. The final file formats will be in PNG.
For an orderOn Stand: (ex : canvas, paper, to be agreed)
